MurphyNile (b.2000) is a transmedia artist based between London and Shanghai, working across simulated 3D environments, experimental video games, and audiovisual live performances. His work explores post-internet anxieties, virtual identities, and the blurred boundaries between online and offline worlds. Drawing from video game culture, he creates dystopian and absurdist digital landscapes, reflecting on alienation within technologically driven societies and critiquing the non-places of technocapitalist cyberspace.

MurphyNile holds a M.A. degree from Computational Arts at Goldsmiths, University of London and a B.A. degree from Roy Ascott Technoetic Arts Studio, Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts.
